I had to add tese pictures because my nehews are just the cutest kids ever and I love how these images have captured their personalities, but by saturating the images and then picking out a colour I feel that it adds another depth of interest.

This is the way I chose to display my ork, each piece was suspended to the tree using wool and they would be free to spin and turn, surrounding the tree is various props that were used in the photoshoots and the dress I made on a manequin, I enjoyed creating an installation piece and I feel it would be something I would want to do again. As you can see there were more photos in the series that I would have loved to have shown but unfortunately I have lost them!!!!

These images have been created for our recent brief,

we have been working with the stylist students to produce some fashion based images. We felt our time scale was too short to scout out a professional model so we went down a more realistic route and used three fish, named Dave, Brian and Leroy. We first had an idea to photograph jewellery under the water but then we developed our ideas further and incorporated the fish. This shoot was cery fun to produce and I feel we worked well as a team, in my group there was me and Kayleigh (the photographers) and Charlotte and Holly (the stylists).

These are images I took for our brief in response to an essay, I used my boyfriend as the model and photographed his tattoos. I used a Bowens lighting kit for this I am very happy with how the images came out.

These images are from a wedding I have just been the photographer for. Mel (the bride) has said it is okay for me to put up these images. I love photographing weddings and this is definately the career path I see myself taking. I have a couple of weddings booked in early this year and I am very excited to be taking part in them.

These are some more images that I created for the fairytale series, I took inspiration from the traditional fairytales that we have all rown up listening to, such as Sleeping Beaty, Hansel and Gretel, Red Riding Hood and Snow White, there were more photographs in this series but these are some of my favourites.

These images were created for the purpose of showing off the dress I made, yeah thats right I made that dress, ha ha, anyway I did a brief on fairytales and these are some of the images I produced. I really enjoyed creating the whole project because it allowed me to get imaginative but still being able to stick to a reasonably low budget.

I have always liked this image I took because I think it has quite a magical feel to it and although it doesn't hold much meaning I think it is fun, which is why I have added it to my blog.

some of my own work

These images were taken for a little project I set for myself, I wanted to capture movement in water and pick up all the texture in the ripples.

Mario Testino and Carmen Kass
seem to have a soft spot for bold colours, either in the over the top styling or the beauty treatment, like this one from the September 2009 issue of Allure magazine.
How striking is this new ad? It's Raquel Zimmermann (and a bunch of snakes) by Nick Knight for the Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2010 ad campaign.
