These are just some of our pictures that we created, unfortunately I can not get hold of final images because the computer wont let us, but our final images, that have been contrasted and saturated can be found on Holly's blog.

Friday 26th March.
The day is beautiful and we are ready to shoot!
Our orginal model pulled out at the last minute, but this was sorted as quick as it had become a problem, as Holly called on her beautiful friend Grace and all was ok again.
We started shooting around 11:30 and we were all very excited to just get going.

The weather was not exactlt perfect and the ground was sloppy but this is what you get on a farm so you cant really expect miracles when we have chosen this location.
The outfits the Holly & Charlotte had styled looked really good, and the makeup and accessories that the model wore were just as good!
Also trying to make the model look like she could belong on the farm but also having the contrast between the clean and dirty - inspired by our found object, the Apple Blossom Soap & Bath Cubes, wasn't really as tricky as we thought!
All in all we got to capture what we all think are great pics and we are all really proud of what we have achieved. We worked well as a team and every one had an important role to play.

Our ideas so far
we all found the name of the soap 'Apple Blossom' more interesting than the actual soap itself and so we decided to run with this as a concept.
We liked the idea of having the link to the soap as cleanliness, but then somehow contrasting it and still being very fashionable at the same time.
Thinking about apples and water the first thought that popped into my head was a cow bath, and Holly came up with an interesting idea of apple bobbing, this all seemed to link together as a very country girl theme, and so from this our ideas developed into our shoot being on a farm.
We then went back to the contrast of the traditional models who are seen as being prim and proper, clean and look as though they have never experienced a hard days graft in their lives. And that was it, our concept is a traditional looking, glamorous, gorgeous model mucking in on the farm.
We are looking for a model that will feel comfortable getting down and dirty when the actual shoot day arrives and I did have the perfect girl for this but unfortunately she will be in London for a few weeks and so we will have to find another model.
There are few roles that we want to capture in the shoot and being a country girl myself, as is Holly we know exactly what the unglamorous jobs on the farm are, such as -
crop pulling, tractor driving, mucking out, feeding stock etc, etc.

first group meeting 12th March @ Source 12:30pm
We discussed a lot at our first meeting and I feel we have got a lot of the ground covered at an early stage and in our development, we were able to cover a number of constraints that we will come across and we all chipped in our own ideas and what we imagine our images to look like overall. Here are a few things we considered-
* Style of the shoot
*Fashions at the moment
*Where we actually want the images to be taken (studio based or on location)
*What narrative the images are going to portray
*The overall image of the model
*The expression of the shoot
*What needs to be done before carrying out the actual shoot

Our new brief involved us picking a random package, our group chose an Apple blossom soap set. Our first thoughts from this were not very imaginative and for some reason all we could think of was old people, but after actually looking around and noticing what other groups had been given we found that we actually got off quite lightly!!!

These images have been created for our recent brief,
we have been working with the stylist students to produce some fashion based images. We felt our time scale was too short to scout out a professional model so we went down a more realistic route and used three fish, named Dave, Brian and Leroy. We first had an idea to photograph jewellery under the water but then we developed our ideas further and incorporated the fish. This shoot was cery fun to produce and I feel we worked well as a team, in my group there was me and Kayleigh (the photographers) and Charlotte and Holly (the stylists).

These images are from a wedding I have just been the photographer for. Mel (the bride) has said it is okay for me to put up these images. I love photographing weddings and this is definately the career path I see myself taking. I have a couple of weddings booked in early this year and I am very excited to be taking part in them.
These images were created for the purpose of showing off the dress I made, yeah thats right I made that dress, ha ha, anyway I did a brief on fairytales and these are some of the images I produced. I really enjoyed creating the whole project because it allowed me to get imaginative but still being able to stick to a reasonably low budget.
