. Quotes .

“The expression a woman wears on her face is more important than the clothes she wears on her back.”
Dale Carnegie

“Fashion anticipates, and elegance is a state of mind ... a mirror of the time in which we live, a translation of the future, and should never be static.”
Oleg Cassini

“A good model can advance fashion by ten years.”
Yves Saint Laurent

I came across these shoes a few days ago and I have been mulling over different ideas for photo shoots to show them off, I would love to be able to get my hands on some of these shoes and do them the justice they deserve. These shoes were created by designers Omelle, it’s pronounced ähm’ elle - if that helps at all!!! LA based footwear designers Cherise Angelle and Nicole LaFave combined their respective visions of high-end sophistication with artistic-architectural-edginess to create one amazing luxury shoe line.

David La Chapelle

I think it would be impossible for me to mention influential photographers and not discuss David La Chapelle. I worship this man.... seriously!!! The images he produces are so over the top and elaborate that I know I could not achieve what he does on such a small budget, but the imagination and creativity that goes into every individual shoot blows my mind, minute details caught beautifully and the explosive use of colour can't help but draw your eyes in.

. Inspiration .

I am inspired by the smallest thing, it can be an item of clothing, a location, a person, music, film, a book, etc. All these aspects come together when coming up with a concept for a photoshoot. Coming from an Art and Design background I find the most creative of ideas the most interesting to run with.

. About Me .

I will start off this blog with little information into the area of photography that interests me and why!!!

Well I love black and white film for the aesthetic qualities but I have to say I am a digital girl, mainly because I have all control in what is being created and because there is always a back up!!! At the moment I am very interested in fashion photography because of how creative the genre is, the sky is the limit when it comes to fashion and anything goes. Currently out of university I shoot weddings, families, kids, portraits, pets and any other random projects that catch my eye. I am based in the small village of Whittingham outside of Preston but I drive so I am able to travel to where ever I need to be easily. This blog will serve as a place to catch my inspirations, aspirations and personal creations. Thanks for stopping by.
